Who qualifies for sliding scale sessions?
At Ocean Johnston Counselling, a select number of spots are reserved for those who do not have means to pay for full priced sessions, are not covered under their insurance, and who are struggling with financial stability. Sliding scale prices range from $75 and above for a 50 minute session.
Please take a moment to consider the following before requesting to be seen at the sliding scale rate: Am I comfortably able to pay for my necessities? Am I being supported financially by family and/or loved ones? Do I pay full price for other professional services?
Insurance and Direct Billing
Receipts are provided for all services rendered. Please double check if your insurance provider covers Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) or Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC).
